Ismael Ramirez of College of the Sequoias clocked 20:14 to win the men's 4-mile race at the California Community College Athletic Association State championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Ramirez became the first College of the Sequoias male athlete since Mario Macias in 2000 to capture a state individual title. Alyssa Block secured the women's individual crown in 2017.
